Freshly baked oatmeal raisin cookies

If you’re like many Americans, you have virtually no extra time in your life! Whatever precious time you do have available to you, you want to make sure the time you spend on things is well spent.

So why spend a lot of time baking?

Try this recipe instead – all you need is a stove top! Oats are full of soluble fiber. These indulgent little treats are a great addition to a lunchbox and make for a sweet snack.

Ingredients:
1 cup Nature’s Flavors Organic SweetenFX or organic sugar
½ cup organic butter or coconut oil
½ cup organic milk (or unflavored milk alternative)
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp Nature’s Flavors Organic Vanilla Extract
3 cups organic quick rolled oats
½ cup organic (unsulfured) raisins
4 tsp ground flaxseeds

Directions: Mix sweetener and cinnamon. In a pot, add cinnamon mixture and milk/milk alternative and mix well. Add butter or coconut oil and bring to a boil for 1 minute. Stir to avoid burning. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Allow to sit for 5 to 10 minutes to cool. Place 1 tbsp drops on paper or in muffin cups. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve cold. Can be frozen.
