Cape Cod Eats: Eating Seasonally in April

More and more health experts and chefs are saying it’s important to eat seasonally. It will save you cash. When something is in season it means it hasn’t been transported as far or been grown in greenhouses. It tastes better. It’s more likely to freshly caught or picked rather than pre frozen.

Each month, CapeCod.com will be telling you what’s in season in the USA so you can pack your cart with freshest ingredients.

In April look out for these items:

artichoke

asparagus
