Hot Chocolate Sparrow in Easter Rush

Over 2,500 bunnies of different shapes and sizes and over 1000 peeps and other Easter favorites will be made over the next few weeks at Hot Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans.

People come every year from off Cape to purchase bunnies, baskets, and other Easter treats. One loyal customer even ships a 3 pound rabbit to a retirement home California every year.

Perry Sparrow allowed CapeCod.com to go behind the scenes for the lead up to their biggest candy making season.

The locally owned business which has been going strong since 1989 is now being run by second generation Sparrows.

When Easter is over, they’ll be focusing on getting ready for the summer which includes a pop up shop in Wellfleet
