I’m Joonbug – a beautiful full figured pitbull type mix, hoping to find my waistline for the swimsuit season. Walks and playtime are great ways to help me regain a more appropriate weight. I was used to getting lots of junky human food, but really I’d prefer a healthier diet of quality dog food and tasty dog treats. I can’t wait to be an appropriate weight again!
If you’re looking for a walking buddy, I’m your girl! I have been known to pull on leash, so usually I bring an easy-walk harness along for my outings. Sometimes I get so excited I’ll also help you hold the leash. Once we’re back home, I may chew on a toy for a bit but then I love to just sprawl out next to you for a nap.
I am friendly meeting new people, sometimes so friendly that I jump right up to greet. I am already house-trained and trustworthy when you’re out of the house. I’m open to meeting older children, as long as they know that I don’t really like my feet touched.
My new home may have cats or even chickens – previously, my job was to collect the eggs and bring them inside. However, I’d prefer to be the only dog. When we see dogs out for walks, I have no problem walking right on by; I just like to save my personal space for humans only.
