against the tideHYANNIS – Essential Beauty and Atlantis Spa and Gym will host a day of beauty, including spa services next week to support the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition’s unique mission of breast cancer prevention.

“I am so excited to partner with this incredible organization and their determined mission,”  Becca Tambascia, owner of Essential Beauty, said.  “The day of wellness and health is a great way to support my community and change the legacy of breast cancer for future generations. Essential Beauty looks forward to coming together for a great day on behalf of a very deserving cause.”

The Day of Wellness and Beauty scheduled for August 7 is being held in support of the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition and their mission of breast cancer prevention.

Salon Services are available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Salon Services include express pedicure, blow-dry, make-up application, and wet cuts.

Each service is $20 and attendees are welcome to choose to participate in whichever activity suits their needs.

In addition, the spa and salon will also be raffling prizes, including a bag of Aveda products, salon services, and a massage.

Call in advance to make an appointment for August 7th.

All proceeds support the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition.

“We are very fortunate to have such tremendous support from citizens of Massachusetts demanding greater protection of their children’s future health in our effort to stop breast cancer before it starts,” said Cheryl Osimo, Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition Executive Director and Co-Founder of Silent Spring Institute. “MBCC is often overshadowed by larger, national breast cancer organizations and messages of early detection, treatment, and finding a cure. We depend on our generous media and supporters to continue our unique goal of breast cancer prevention.”

The Essential Beauty team is also participating in the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition’s Against the Tide event on August 16.

Against the Tide consists of a 1-mile recreational or competitive swim, 2-mile kayak, 3-mile fitness walk, and 5K or 10K recreational or competitive run, as well as an optional Aquathlon consisting of a competitive 1-mile swim and your choice of a competitive 5K or 10K run.

You may participate in one or more of the recreational or competitive aquathlon events in any combination.

This family-friendly and inspirational statewide event brings people from all demographics and abilities together with one goal in mind: breast cancer prevention.
