Eastham’s Windmill Weekend is one of the biggest town events of the year.

Cape Cod Sings!, Fri, 9/6, 7:30 PM, Cotuit Center for the Arts

Cape Cod Wildlife Festival, Sat, 9/7, 10 AM, Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary

Celebrate Cape Cod wildlife at this fun, family-friendly festival hosted by the Cape Cod Wildlife Collaborative. Music, food trucks, and lots of kids’ activities. FREE admission!

 

Harwich Cranberry Fest Beach Day, Sat, 9/7, 11-3, Red River Beach

This is a beach prelude to next weekend’s Cranberry Festival! Enjoy FREE games – fish pool, ring Toss, bowling, sand castles, races, tug-o-war, and more – and enjoy crafts, and a touch-a-truck. Rain date is Sunday. FREE – food will be available for purchase.

 

Seaside LeMans Kart Race, Sat, 9/7, Noon, Mashpee Commons

Hydrangea Wreath Workshop, Sat, 9/7, 1 PM, Hyannis Country Garden

Auditions, Dr. Dolittle, 9/7, 2-6 PM, Cotuit Center for the Arts Schoolhouse

Barnstable Police BBQ and Cornhole Tournament, Sat, 9/7, 5-8 PM, Cape Cod Beer

The Barnstable Police Department is hosting this event in loving memory of Sergeant Jason Sturgis, who passed away suddenly back in July. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Sturgis Family Fund. Tickets are as follows: $30 Entry into blind draw cornhole tournament (Top 2 teams win Cape Cod Beer/Sturgis Sweatshirts), $25 just to attend. The Cornhole Tournament will be run by Cape Cod Cornhole, and the first 140 attendees receive Cape Cod Beer/Sturgis Pint glass. Live Music and a cash BBQ and bar.

Cliff Walk for ALS Fundraiser, Sun, 9/8, 9 AM, DCR Scusset Beach Reservation

A day of fun and fundraising, featuring a 7-mile Walk along the Cape Cod Canal, followed by a BBQ, live music, and activities for the whole family. Raffles, prizes, games, tug-of-war, corn hole, face painting, and a playground for kids! Proceeds benefit the in-house patient programs of the A.L.S.
