DENNIS – A performance of a boy-meets-girl love story has opened at Eventide Theatre Company in Dennis.
The musical “She Loves Me” will run through May 19.
The story is based on the play Parfumerie and is directed by David McCarty and musical direction by Margaret Bossi.
The story centers around two combative shop clerks, Amalia and Georg. The two are not aware that despite their animosity towards each other, they are the recipients of each other’s secret love letters through a “lonely hearts club.”
The show also includes a secondary cast that plays a large role in the storytelling as each character provides unique charm and color to the scene.
Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. with matinee shows on Sundays at 2:30 p.m.
