AG’s Office to Hold Open Meeting Law Training Next Week in Orleans

ORLEANS – In an effort to inform the public and government officials about the Open Meeting Law and its requirements, Attorney General Maura Healey’s office will hold a training session Tuesday in Orleans.

The training is at Nauset Regional Middle School from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Members of public bodies, municipal employees and the public are encouraged to attend.

Individuals interested in attending are asked to register in advance by calling 617-963-2925 or by emailing [email protected] and providing first and last names, town of residence, public body being represented and the location of the training session being attended.

Sessions were held throughout the spring across the state. The final training is May 30 in Holyoke.

The Attorney General’s Office will hold a final online webinar today from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
