Chatham Harbor
CHATHAM – An annual service for local fishermen will be held in Chatham this weekend.
The Blessing of the Fleet will be held at the fish pier on Saturday morning. The event kicks off at 10 a.m.
The Rev. Brian McGurk of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church will lead the service. Each fishing boat in the fleet will be blessed.
Fishing families will also honor fishermen lost at sea by laying a wreath in Aunt Lydia’s Cove.
The service will feature live music and will provide the public the opportunity to meet local fishermen and their families.
