HYANNIS- Barnstable Police responded to an accident involving a pedestrian this morning near the Tedeschi Food Shop on Yarmouth Road in Hyannis.
Police say 36-year-0ld Jeffrey Lincoln of Dennis, wasn’t walking on a crosswalk when he was struck by a 2006 Toyota around 9:45 a.m.
The Toyota, driven by 73-year-old Edward Rubel of Harwichport, was travelling southbound on Yarmouth Road when the accident occurred.
Lincoln was conscious at the scene, but was transported to Cape Cod Hospital for unknown injuries.
Rubel was not cited at the scene.
The accident is still under investigation.
