HYANNIS – The town of Barnstable has set a date for the postponed 4th of July fireworks display.
The fireworks will light the sky on Saturday, August 30 at 8 p.m.
A pre-fireworks concert will be held at Aselton Park, at the corner of South and Ocean Streets in Hyannis, at 6 p.m.
The fireworks will be shot off a barge in Lewis Bay.
The main viewing locations for this year’s fireworks will be Aselton Park, Bismore Park, Veteran’s Park Beach and Kalmus Beach.
The fireworks were postponed due to Hurricane Arthur.
