BARNSTABLE – The Barnstable Town Council approved five Community Preservation Committee projects this week after hearing from the Sandy Neck Advisory Board.

According to Town Manager Thomas Lynch’s office, the projects included funding for the Burgess House, the U.S. Custom House and the Centerville Historical Society Museum.

A land purchase sponsored by the CPC in Barnstable Village was continued to June 5.

The Town Council also approved a bicycle path connecting to the Cape Cod Rail Trail.
