YARMOUTH – Boat owners affected by the state’s decision to conduct work at the Bass River Bridge now have their vessels back in the water after the work wrapped up earlier this month.
Yarmouth Harbor Master Karl Von Hone says the original plan was to wait until the entire project was completed.
The work included replacing bents on the bridge’s under surface, Von Hone said. There is still some work to do on the Dennis side of the span.
Only a few boat owners were affected, according to Von Hone.
