Bearse’s Way Detours Planned During Sewer Work

HYANNIS – More construction is planned in the area of Bearse’s Way in Hyannis this week.

Sewer upgrades will force the closure of the southbound lanes on Bearse’s Way between Pitcher’s Way and Enterprise Road. One travel lane will remain open on the northbound side of the road.

Drivers coming from Route 132 will be detoured on Pitcher’s Way to Route 28.

The road work will take place between 5:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Construction should wrap up by Monday, May 1.

The sewer improvements will be conducted by C.C. Construction and Cape Cod Community College.

Officials are asking drivers to seek alternate routes as delays will be possible during work hours.
