SANDWICH – A bicyclist was found on the ground unconscious today on Service Road in Sandwich.
Just after 5 p.m., the Sandwich Fire Department responded to the scene near Quaker Meeting House Road.
Cap. Robert Black said crews called for a Medflight, but quickly canceled the call and transported the man to Cape Cod Hospital.
The victim was described as being in his 70s.
Authorities could not determine what happened to the man and the Sandwich Police are investigating the incident.
The man’s condition is not known.
