Big 3 Fishing Tournament Raises More Than $365,000

HARWICH – The Big 3 Fishing Tournament has raised more than $365,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands earlier this month.

The event was held on July 14 at the Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich.

More than 300 people and 43 boats took part in the tournament where the biggest fish caught was a 203 lb. tuna by Jeff Feuerman, a Harwich Port native.

Since it was founded only three years ago, the Big 3 Fishing Tournament has raised more than $1 million for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands.

The annual event draws notable members of both the Cape’s and Massachusetts Bay’s philanthropic community.
