YARMOUTH – A week after hosting an open house at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School, the new Bridgewater State University campus in Yarmouth is getting interest from prospective students.
Next week, Bridgewater will host another information session, this time at Cape Cod Community College.
The two colleges have an agreement about transferring credits and not overlapping on courses offered.
Classes at Bridgewater’s Yarmouth campus begin in January and the campus is expecting over 1,000 students to enroll.
Director of Bridgewater State University Cape Cod Jennifer Tru said the numerous offerings at the school are geared toward a wide range of students, from those going to college right out of high school to those returning to school years later and those who want to get certificates.
The next Bridgewater State University Open House is scheduled for December 6 at 10 a.m. at Cape Cod Community College.
