PROVINCETOWN – A local performing arts center is bringing a Broadway star to town.
TONY Award winning actress and singer Betty Buckley will be in Provincetown this week, performing two concerts and meeting with fans.
Buckley’s visit supports the Peregrine Theatre.
“I’m really thrilled to have a few days in Provincetown to see my friends and support their theater company. The two concerts are fundraisers for the Peregrine Theatre ensemble. We really hope everyone comes and supports these brilliant, talented, young artists,” said Buckley, who is making her first appearance in Provincetown in three years. The concerts are on Thursday and Friday.
Buckley will also meet with fans on Wednesday after a performance of “Carrie The Musical.” Buckley was in the film version of Carrie and was also in original version of the musical on Broadway.
