Cape and Islands Democrats rallying before the 2016 election

HYANNIS – Democratic party organizers on the Cape and Islands will elect a new President for the first time in a decade.

Yarmouth Port resident Bob Isadore had lead the Cape and Islands Democratic Council for the last 10 years and is not seeking re-election.

Participants at Wednesday’s general membership meeting will choose a new president and will elect a number of other members to board positions, including regional presidencies.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Zion Union Heritage Museum in Hyannis.
