Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival Plans 38th Season

NORTH EASTHAM – The Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival returns for its 38th season this summer.

The festival is comprised of twelve concerts at venues stretching across Cape Cod from August 1-25.

Artistic Directors Jon Nakamatsu and Jon Manasse have compiled dozens of stellar performing artists, diverse repertoire and a variety and unique pairing of instruments.

A pre-season concert sets the stage for the festival on July 11 at the Wellfeet Harbor Actors Theater. The concert features flute and harp duo Kairos.

Tickets for the pre-season show are $20 and available at what.org.

The festival kicks off August 1 with “Brahms in the Café” at the Cotuit Center of the Arts.

Other programs include the return of world renowned ensemble Emerson String Quartet and rising chamber stars The Power of Wind.

The festival concludes with Ying Quartet’s final ensemble-in-residence performance of the Brahms Quintets on August 25 at the First Congregational Church in Wellfleet.
