Cape Cod Disc Golf Recognized by Barnstable Recreation Commission

BARNSTABLE – The Barnstable Recreation Commission presented the 2016 Community Service Award to Cape Cod Disc Golf recently.

The organization is made up of local disc golf enthusiasts that provide care for the Cape’s disc golf parks, and they work to create a positive environment for players.

The organization was also recognized for its dedication to the maintenance and upkeep of Burgess Park, including poison ivy removal, storm damage cleanup and removal of dead trees and branches.

Burgess Park is listed among the top ten disc golf courses in the state.
