Cape Cod Foundation Promotes Executive Director to President

YARMOUTH PORT – The Cape Cod Foundation has promoted from within to name their new President and CEO.

Kristen O’Malley will take the reins of the organization after serving as its Executive Director for the last 4 years. O’Malley has been with the Cape Cod Foundation since 2004.

“The Foundation has made great strides in the last few years due to shared vision and action at all levels of the organization,” said Henry Holden, the Chairman of the Board of Directors. “The Board recognizes Kristin’s efforts to support and lead our strategic vision, and we feel the change in title more clearly reflects her role inside and outside the organization.

“We are confident that, through our partnerships with donors, nonprofit organizations, and the community, the Foundation will continue to maximize its impact for many years to come,” Holden added.

The Cape Cod Foundation support the 15 towns on the Cape by raising money and then distributing it to organizations and nonprofits across the region.

O’Malley was born and raised in Dennis.
