HARWICH – Over 100 of the 150 seniors at Cape Cod Regional Technical High School will be showcasing their projects at the school on May 3 from 12:30-2 p.m.
The showcase is free and open to the public.
The Senior Project is required for graduation and is used to demonstrate a mastery of their chosen field.
In the yearlong project, students create a product, write a research paper related to their product, create a portfolio of the process and then present the final item.
Each of the phases is evaluated by their teachers, with the presentation being graded by a panel of judges.
Students are guided through the multiple phases by their shop teacher, English teacher and history teacher.
