HYANNIS – 2014 was a good year for the building trades according to Chris Duren, she is the Executive Officer of the Homebuilders and Remodelers Association of Cape Cod.
After a very tough time during the last several years, Duren says the industry is bouncing back.
“We see more and more people who are feeling better about the economy. They are loosening their purse strings and doing work on their homes they haven’t been able to do for awhile.”
Duren says there were a number of custom home builders that switched their focus to remodeling in recent years to take advantage of the upswing in remodeling activity.
