CCYP Announces Scholarship for Local Professionals Seeking More Education

ccypWEST YARMOUTH – The organization known as CCYP (Cape Cod Young Professionals) recently announced a $2,500 scholarship as part of its Career Connect program.

The money will be awarded to a local professional, age 21 or older, who seeks a return to school or professional development courses.

Executive Director at CCYP Anne Van Vleck said that many young professionals are looking to become more marketable in their current workforce, while others wish to make a career change.

The scholarship will cover continuing college, certificate programs, professional leadership courses, certificates and other education training.

Applicants may be full- or part-time students and must have resided on Cape Cod for the past three consecutive years.

The deadline to apply is April 1st. Those interested may visit capecodyoungprofessionals.org for more information.

The Career Connect program has to date given over $90,000 in grants to area professionals, according to CCYP.
