VINEYARD HAVEN – America’s last remaining vessel from its once 2,700 strong wooden whaling fleet has docked on Martha’s Vineyard.
The Charles W. Morgan arrived yesterday in Vineyard Haven. She’s on her 38th voyage and her first since 1941.
The historic ship will be open to the public Saturday through Tuesday. Following her stop on the Vineyard, the Morgan will make stops in New Bedford, Provincetown, and Boston.
