BOSTON – A Coast Guard Crew from Air Station Cape Cod transported a woman to Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis Saturday.
A 47-year-old woman suffered a heart attack and needed to be moved from Martha’s Vineyard Hospital in Oaks Bluff to CCH.
Watchstanders at the 1st Coast Guard District received a request to assist the transfer at 10:30 p.m. Friday.
An Air Station Cape Cod HC-144 Ocean Sentry crew transported the woman to an EMS crew waiting at Barnstable Municipal Airport around 2 a.m. Saturday.
The EMS crew transported her to CCH.
There has been no details released on her condition.
