COTUIT – The Barnstable Clean Water Coalition is hosting a unique event tomorrow morning to highlight the importance of water conservation on Cape Cod.
Coffee and Composing Toilets in Cotuit will take place tomorrow morning from 8 until 10:30 AM.
The event is designed to highlight the importance of composting toilet technology for a region whose waters are significantly impacted by excess nitrogen from leaching septic systems.
The modern toilets are seen as an opportunity to mitigate the crisis, eliminating nearly 90 percent of the nitrogen that a household contributes to the environment.
Experts from the Barnstable Clean Water Coalition will be on hand to answer any questions and coffee will be available.
