Community Comes Together For Thanksgiving Dinner in Falmouth

turkeyFALMOUTH – While some Cape residents might be cooking for a big crowd, one local organization is making enough turkey for 1,000 people.

The Falmouth Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held from noon to 4 o’clock at the Navigator Club on Sandwich Road in Falmouth.

The free event has been held for well over a decade. All are welcome to the dinner.

Over 400 volunteers have been working to prepare meals. “Everything is donated through the Falmouth Service Center, so we all work together and it’s one big happy family,” organizer John Netto said.

Some meals will be delivered to residents who might not be able to leave their homes. Volunteers will also be delivering food to police and fire personnel who are working on the holiday.
