Cyr Policy Summit Rescheduled to March

WEST BARNSTABLE – A policy summit hosted by newly sworn in Cape and Islands State Senator Julian Cyr has been rescheduled to March 4.

The event, which was postponed due to the blizzard earlier this month, will bring together community stakeholders, elected officials, business leaders and residents to discuss the important issues facing the Cape and Islands.

Attendees will hear from Cyr and have the opportunity to choose between six working sessions, including ‘Working on the Cape and Islands’, ‘Raising a Family on the Cape and Islands’ and ‘Serving on the Cape and Islands’.

In each session, local leaders will facilitate small group discussions.

Cyr will use information gathered from the summit to further inform his policy priorities for the 2017-2018 legislative session.

The summit will be held on the campus of Cape Cod Community College beginning at 1 p.m.
