BOSTON – Cape and Islands State Senator Julian Cyr has received his committee assignments for the 2017-2018 legislative session.
Cyr was appointed as chairman of the Joint Committee on Community Development and Small business, and will serve as vice chair for the Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development, and Elder Affairs Joint Committees.
He will also sit on the Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities, Public Health, Housing and Municipalities and Regional Government Joint Committees.
Cyr was elected to the seat in November.
