A description was provided and multiple Dennis Police units checked the area for the man.

Around 10 minutes later, police observed a white Ford F-150 traveling East on Lower County Road in the area of Shad Hole Road.

The vehicle was traveling on the wrong side of the road and did not have its head-lights on.

Police performed a traffic stop and identified the operator as 20-year-old Gerant Rivera-Alonso of San Diego, CA.

During the traffic stop officers observed Rivera-Alonso also matched the description of the subject who broke the window.

After further investigation, it was determined Rivera-Alonso was operating under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest for OUI-liquor.

An eye-witness from The Sand Dollar identified Rivera-Alonso as the subject he saw breaking the window.

During the investigation, Dennis Police received a call from the owner of the Ford F-150 reporting the truck stolen from Rum Runners, located across the street from the Sand Dollar Restaurant.

Gerant Rivera-Alonso was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, OUI-liquor, vandalism of property, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation.
