Dennis Police and Fire Investigate Street Fire

DENNIS PORT – Dennis police and fire are investigating after a caller reported a fire down the middle of Center Street in Dennis Port last night.

Around 9 p.m., the caller reported seeing a loud truck stop in the middle of the street for a short time before driving away followed by a line of fire, according to Dennis Police Sergeant Ken Gelnett.

Gelnett said the caller did not get a license plate number and there was nobody in the area when emergency crews arrived.
