East Falmouth Woman Hits Pole, Arrested for OUI

police carFALMOUTH – Falmouth Police arrested an East Falmouth woman after her SUV struck a utility pole on Sam Turner Road in Falmouth last night.

Aliscia Lindh,33, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, operating to endanger, and marked lanes violations, according to Falmouth Police Sergeant Sean Doyle.

An officer arrived at the crash scene near 93 Sam Turner Road around 8:45 p.m. and found the white Toyota Highlander on its side with Lindh still in the vehicle.

The officer tried to get the doors unlocked after breaking a window with a window punch but was unsuccessful.

Fire crews responded to the scene and were able to get Lindh out of the vehicle after knocking out the windshield of the SUV.

Crews transported the East Falmouth woman to Falmouth Hospital with possible injuries.

The crash caused power outages in the area and NStar crews were called to the scene to make repairs.

According to police, Lindh was booked without incident.
