HYANNIS – Town of Barnstable planning officials are focusing on the east end of Main Street in Hyannis as an area for revitalization.
At this stage of the planning process, the town is looking to hear from people who live, work and own property in the area to hear about concerns and suggestions.
Planners are looking at traffic patterns, lighting and even additional street trees for the area.
Jo Anne Miller Buntich, Town of Barnstable Director of Growth Management, said the boundaries of the area start at the intersection of Center Street and Main Street and continue to the Yarmouth town line.
A meeting on the project is being held tonight at 5 o’clock at the Heritage House Hotel on Main Street in Hyannis.
