Edaville Railroad in Carver will soon be the home of Thomasland, the first amusement park in America inspired by Thomas The Tank Engine.

The park has held numerous Thomas-related events over the years, which made the construction of Thomasland a fitting decision, according to Edaville owner Jon Delli Priscoli.

Thomasland will be a new 14-ride, 12-acre park.

Plans call for Thomasland to open sometime next summer. Edaville expects to increase their staff to about 300 workers.

Edaville will continue its longtime Cranberry Festival and Festival of Lights traditions.
