HYANNIS – The latest Cape and Island employment numbers are out and David Augustinho, Executive Director of the Cape and Islands Workforce Investment Board, said he’s pleased with the results.
The area’s unemployment rate is about five percent.
Augustinho said he’s hearing from local hotels and restaurants that they are enjoying strong numbers and looking forward to keeping busy the rest of the summer.
Augustinho also said he’s hearing from other local businesses that they are enjoying good numbers and large numbers of visitors.
