Falmouth Chamber Plans January Business Education Courses

FALMOUTH – The Falmouth Chamber of Commerce has announced their January classes for the 2016 Business Education Series.

On January 6 Attorney Angela Snyder of the law firm Foley and Foley, PC will lead a discussion on understanding and successfully implementing Massachusetts’ mandatory earned sick leave in your workplace.

The course will address the ins and outs of the final regulations and what full compliance with the law might look like for various types of employers.

On January 13 Beth Underhill, owner of Financial Fitness, will host a workshop on the top five money rules for a financially fit life.

The workshop will guide participants toward the clarity they need to identify and prioritize what you really need and want in life along with strategies for staying in control of your money.

Michael Tyler, Chief Financial Officer of Eastern Bank will lead a discussion on Economic Outlook on January 20.

The course will provide business owners an opportunity to study the many factors that financial professionals consider when trying to predict the economic future.

On January 27, Patricia Mitrokostas, Director of Prevention for Gosnold on Cape Cod, will hold a session on drugs in the workplace.

The workshop will explore the causes of the growing challenge and offer solutions on how to prevent and address the issues in your own business.
