FALMOUTH – An accident on Sandwich Road Wednesday evening sent one person to Falmouth Hospital and caused traffic delays.
Police and fire crews responded around 5:45 p.m. on Sandwich Road near the intersection with John Parker Road for the two-car crash.
A Falmouth fire official said the injuries suffered were non-life threatening and the vehicles sustained minor to moderate damage.
Sandwich Road was closed off as officials responded to the scene and, as a result, vehicles traveling on Sandwich Road had to turn around or find other routes.
Falmouth police are investigating.
