FALMOUTH – Falmouth Town Meeting voters last night approved the $755,000 budget for police and fire dispatch equipment, but they debated for more than an hour and a half about where the new dispatch station would go.

One possible location is the Gus Canty Community Center. But the center has also been given as a possible location for a new senior center. .

Town meeting voters also decided to return to voting at elementary schools during elections. During the last two elections , voting locations for several precincts were moved to Falmouth High School. Marc Finneran who submitted the warrant article said the move resulted in lower voter turnout in East Falmouth. He showed town meeting photos of election day showing a lack of parking at the school.
