Funding for addiction treatment offered through Mashpee Police

MASHPEE – The Mashpee Police Department’s Community Service Unit is offering a free scholarship to a new rehabilitation facility in Margate, Florida, just north of Fort Lauderdale.

Legacy Healing Center has offered the department a scholarship valued at $20,000. The only cost to the patient is the flight to Florida. Legacy Healing offers a gateway to a better life for anyone suffering from active addiction.

Their holistic approach to healing is tailor-made to each individual who enters their community, offering hope, ongoing support and a new opportunity to thrive.

Under Chief Scott Carline’s community-service approach, the CSU has been working in conjunction with Gosnold to follow-up with local victims of drug overdoses and help them seek treatment.

If you or a loved one could benefit from this amazing opportunity, you’re urged to email a brief (2-3 paragraphs) request, detailing the addiction, to Officer Princi ([email protected]).
