HYANNIS – The Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands will be hosting an educational breakfast workshop next week aimed at helping local non-profits step up their fundraising.
The presentation, titled “fundraising 101” is geared toward those who are new to fundraising including professionals, board members, and volunteers. The workshop will include lectures on major gifts, capital campaigns, monthly appeals, special events, grant writing, and board development.
Fundraising 101 will take place on Wednesday July 26th from 8 AM until noon at the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis. Tickets are $15 for members of The Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands and $30 for non-members, a continental breakfast is included for all attendees.
Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands is a non-profit, volunteer-led organization that has been on Cape Cod since 1991. PPCI hosts member lunches four times a year featuring guest speakers on topics relevant to members, including non-profit administration, fundraising, social networks, and special events.
