BREWSTER – Work on a gas line project on Route 6A in east Brewster is set to resume Monday morning, January 5.
Motorists can expect delays beginning in East Brewster as one lane is being closed and traffic is directed by police.
The work by the contractor Neuco is scheduled to go on from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, weather permitting, until the project wraps up at the Orleans town line.
The State does not allow work on holidays or the days before or after the holiday or holiday weekend, according to Brewster Police Chief Richard J. Koch Jr.
