BOSTON – Governor Deval Patrick has tapped four people with Cape ties for the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Advisory Council.
Democratic Congressman Joseph Kennedy III, of the Fourth District of Massachusetts, was sworn in for a second term as the honorary co-chair of the advisory council.
State Senator Dan Wolf (D-Harwich) is another politicial on the council.
Joining Kennedy and Wolf are Michael Looney, the Curricular Chair and Technology Department School to Career Coordinator for Mashpee Public Schools and Ellen Spear, the President and CEO of Heritage Museums and Gardens.
The Governor’s STEM Advisory Committee was created in 2009 by an executive order from Patrick.
