HARWICH – The Harwich Conservation Trust is holding an Orienteering Workshop tomorrow from 10 a.m. to noon at Thompson’s Field in Harwich.
Learn how to navigate the great outdoors and join naturalist Todd Kelley for a hands-on workshop on how to use a compass and read a map.
Participants will follow a course where they will get to apply practical reasoning and decision making skills in land navigation basics in order to always stay found, even without a smartphone.
A compass will be provided for workshop use.
The price to participate is $15 per person but there is limited space available.
