Hyannis Man Pleads Not Guilty to Murder Charge in Double Stabbing

HYANNIS – An 18-year-old faces murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon charges in connection with the fatal double stabbing early Saturday morning in Hyannis.

Kelly Ridley, of Hyannis, pleaded not guilty to the charges today during an arraignment at Barnstable District Court.

Thomas Russell, 26, of Hyannis, was killed during the incident on Beth Lane. A second victim remains in critical condition.

Ridley is being held without bail.

A probable cause hearing has been scheduled for December 5.

Ridley was arrested Sunday night.
