IFAW Crew Rescues Stranded Dolphin in Eastham

EASTHAM – A team from the International Fund for Animal Welfare rescued a dolphin from a beach in Eastham Saturday.

A spokesperson for the organization said the dolphin was hauled out of the water by rescuers and successfully released at Scusset Beach in Sandwich later in the afternoon.

The cause of the stranding was unknown.

Three stranded dolphins were rescued by an IFAW crew this past Wednesday.
