Intruder Arrested at Kennedy Home

police car02HYANNISPORT – A man who said he was looking for pop singer Katy Perry was arrested at the Hyannisport house of Ted Kennedy Jr. after police were called to the Irving Avenue residence about 9:30 last night.

Police responded after a call from Kennedy alerted them to the possibility of an intruder at the house.

Kennedy was in Connecticut when he called to check on his 16-year-old son, and the suspect allegedly answered the phone.

James Lacroix, 53, was taken into custody and faces breaking and entering charges. He is set for arraignment today in Barnstable District Court.
