HYANNIS – Non-stop, daily jet service between Hyannis and New York City will resume June 18 of next year and continue through Labor Day, September 8.

JetBlue is accepting flight reservations on its JetBlue.com web site.

The JetBlue service between Barnstable Airport and JFK Airport will begin eight days earlier than in 2014.

“We are thrilled to have JetBlue back next season,” said Airport Manager Roland “Bud” Breault. “The service was extremely successful last summer; its superb service attracted more than 12,000 passengers in both directions over 11 weeks.”

“JetBlue’s New York service was a smashing success,” said Wendy Northcross, CEO of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce. “We are looking to build on that strong performance and demonstrate long term to JetBlue that Cape Cod is a first rate destination for them.”

According to the airline’s web site, flights will depart Hyannis daily at 1:14 p.m. and arrive at JFK at 2:29 p.m., a flight time of one hour and 15 minutes.

The Hyannis-bound leg is scheduled to leave JFK every day at 11:27 a.m. and arrive at 12:38 p.m.
