JFK Hyannis Museum to Kick off Speaker Series

JFK MuseumHYANNIS – Congressman Joe Kennedy III will be in Hyannis on Thursday to kick off a speakers series put on by the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum.

Kennedy’s speech will focus on public service. It will be held on Thursday June 26 at 7:30 PM at Barnstable High School.

A variety of speakers will be coming to the Cape this summer, including Sergei Khrushchev, the son of former Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev.

The museum’s executive director John Allen says that discussion will touch on President Kennedy’s relationship and dealings with the Soviet leader during the height of the Cold War.

Krushchev will speak at Barnstable High School on July 31.
